West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee announced on Friday (May 29) that all places of worship in the state would open from Monday and no more than ten people would be allowed to go at once.
Bengal Chief Minister Mamta announced, "All the places of worship, temples, mosques, gurudwaras and others will be open, but no more than 10 people will be allowed, no gathering will be done at religious places."
During the meeting with state officials, Mamta also stated that West Bengal was successful in controlling Kovid-19 proliferation in the last two months; However, he said that cases are increasing in the state as people are coming from outside.
Addressing the media two days before the lockdown 4.0 ended, CM Mamta said that all public and private workplaces would be back in business in the state by 8 June. "Public, private sectors with 100 percent in West Bengal will be open from June 8", the CM said, adding schools in the state will remain closed through June as their campuses are used as quarantine centers for migrants returning home. being done.
She further said that while she was happy that the expatriates were returning to their home state, she reprimanded the Center and the Railways for their alleged lack of adequate social distance arrangements during their journey.
