Showman Raj Kapoor of the Bollywood industry has come a long way in the film industry. He inherited acting and created a huge legacy of directing himself. And for this he fought fiercely. There was even a time when he worked as a spotboy. Despite being the son of such a big actor, he made a place in the industry on his own. He did not consider any work to be small. He became the godfather of the industry by first acting, then directing and seeing.

At the age of 17, Raj Kapoor started spotboy work in 'Ranjith Moviecom' and 'Bombay Talkies' film production company. He even had to eat chanta for this job. One time, during the shooting of the film, he clapped as a clap boy so fast that the fake beard of the actor also got entangled in it. For this, the director of the film gave him a slap. In the year 1947, he started his career with the film Neelkamal opposite Madhubala.

After this, he earned a lot of name in the acting world in the coming few years. He acted in films like Aag, Barsaat, Awara, Boot Polish, Shree 420 and Jagte Raho. During this, he also stepped into film direction. In the year 1948, he emerged as one of the youngest directors of that era by making a fire film and was also successful.
