Swastika Mukherjee is a well-known name in Bengali cinema. After making her debut on the small screen in the television show 'Devdasi', she entered the film business in 2001 with 'Hemantar Pakiza'. The 2004 release 'Mastan', 'Criminal' was followed by an excellent actress, 'Mantra', 'Kranti', 'Partner' among many other films.
Swastika screened several films in her nearly two-decade-long career, such as Byomkesh Bakshi, Nondine, Aabar Byomkesh, Bhoot Bhabisht, Jatishwar, Sheshar Kobita, Saheb Bibi Golam, Shah Jahan Regency.
More recently, he was seen in the production of Anushka Sharma, a web-series 'Patal Lok', which was widely appreciated and praised by fans. Swastika played Dolly Mehra, wife of top news anchor Sanjeev Mehra, played by actor Neeraj Kabi on-screen.
She effortlessly essayed the role of a troubled wife who battled issues of anxiety.
