The first match of the two-match T20 International Series between India and Australia will be played on Sunday. Both teams will face face-to-face in Visakhapatnam. After the two-match T20 International Series, both teams will play five ODIs.

Prior to the World Cup this is the series of the last limited overs overs of the Indian team. Captain Virat Kohli, who rested after three ODIs on the New Zealand tour, has returned to the team.
