Bollywood lost two of its best stars Irrfan Khan and Rishi Kapoor in a span of just 24 hours. The departure of both actors is a big loss for the film world. Both of them did a film together, De Day, in which both Irrfan and Rishi played the magic of their acting.
Filmmaker Nikhil Advani recounted an anecdote of the film D Day by remembering both actors in conversation with Mumbai Mirror. Nikhil said that a funny thing happened during the shooting of D Day in 2013. He said, 'We were shooting the film in the desert. Irfan and some other team members started living in tents. At the same time, Chintu ji (Rishi Kapoor) used to drive for two hours and go back to the hotel. They did not come early in the morning shoots and we had to do a scene with the rising sun. They were refusing to do it. They were saying - I am an actor and not a milkman. '
Now to stop them in the desert, Irfan bribed them chicken wild and alcohol. It was almost impossible in Kutch but he (Irrfan) fulfilled his promise and I got my shot.
