In a recent research on alcohol it has been revealed that it is quite easy to speak English after drinking alcohol. Research has revealed that after drinking wine, beer or wine, people feel more comfortable speaking foreign languages. The hesitation of speaking wrong within them begins to end. Research shows that once the hesitation is over, people speak in foreign languages more correctly and with more confidence. Alcohol helps people who are learning a new language to do so. Research suggests that drinking alcohol increases the urge to use that language.
This makes them feel less nervous. Scientists also claim that drinking alcohol weakens our cognitive skills. That is, the brain of the people becomes sluggish compared to earlier. Their ability to think and understand is weakened. In such a situation, is it really true to gain ease in speaking foreign language by drinking alcohol?
Maastricht University involved about 50 people for this research. These were all German speakers who wanted to learn Dutch. Half of the people were given water during the examination and asked to talk. While half the examinees were given alcohol during question and answer. Those who tried to speak Dutch by drinking alcohol all passed. Confidants were seen among those who took the test after drinking water and drinking alcohol.
