Then there are headlines.  The former all-rounder, who has often made statements against India, has this time blamed PM Modi for the poor relations between India and Pakistan.  He has said that Narendra Modi's mindset is negative and relations between the two countries cannot improve as long as he remains the Prime Minister of India.
In an interview to Cricket Pakistan, when asked Afridi about the bilateral relations between India and Pakistan, he said, "As long as Modi is in power, I don't think there will be any response from India."  All of us, even Indians, know what Modi thinks.  Their thinking is negative. '
The former captain said, "The relations between India and Pakistan have deteriorated due to just one person.  This is not what we wanted. ”He said,“ People from both sides of the border want to roam each other's country.  I do not know what Modi wants to do and what his agenda is in reality. ”Both teams are face to face in multinational tournaments but both have not played a bilateral series since 2013.
Pakistan last visited India in 2013 for a three-match ODI series.  India last visited Pakistan under the captaincy of Rahul Dravid in 2006.
