Shriram and Lakshmana are searching for Sita everywhere, when there they find Jatayu in an injured state, Jatayu tells Shriram that he was waiting for Rama to stop his life. Jatayu tells Shriram that Sita has taken Ravana with him from the sky route by sitting on his plane chariot, and also expresses regret that he could not save Sita. Shri Ram takes this vow that wherever he finds Ravana, he will take his life, Jatayu dies in this. Shri Ram and Laxman perform the last rites of Jatayu with full rituals.
On the other hand, Goddess Sita has reached Ravana's Lanka, Ravana comes to meet Sita and says that if you want to take your life then it is not possible, you will die only when Ravan wants it. Sita does not listen to Ravana and tells him very well, and Sita tells Ravana that her husband Shriram will surely destroy her. Ravana tells Sita that she should become his queen silently but Sita insults Ravana by calling him a coward. In such a rage, Ravana forcibly tries to make Sita his wife, only then does Sita keep a straw leaf so that Ravana cannot come near her.
