The chief of the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and former Indian captain Rahul Dravid revealed that the mental health aspects of the non-contracted and under-19 players between the Kovid-19 lockdown were looked into with the help of professionals. Dravid admitted in a webinar organized on the mental health of Rajasthan Royals that it is an uncertain period for cricketers, which can affect them mentally.

He said, 'In lockdown we tried to look into this issue (work on mental health of players through professionals). We identified the under-19 players off the contract list. We gave them an opportunity to seek the help of professionals. '

Dravid said, "Being a former cricketer, I believe that the former cricketer and cricket coach does not have the expertise to deal with the kind of issues that some youngsters are going through these days. It was good for us to get the help of professionals for this.
