Cricket activities are at a standstill across the world due to the Kovid-19 epidemic, but the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) is preparing a roadmap to start cricket without an audience. The ECB has instructed 55 players to start outdoor practice in addition to World Cup winning captain Eoin Morgan and Test team captain Joe Root.
Last week, 18 fast bowlers from England started individual practice and the ECB included 37 more players in this list keeping in mind Test cricket. James Anderson and Joffra Archer's pair of fast bowlers are named in this list, but Alex Hales, Liam Plunkett and Joe Clarke have not found a place in it.
The ECB confirmed that the players have been asked to start practice. After the approval of the British Government, the men's team is expected to play without an audience. The board said that it is working closely with its county teams to provide a safe environment for players to practice.
