West Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee on Sunday said that the state government has not yet received any official information from the Union Human Resource Development Ministry or the University Grants Commission (UGC) to set guidelines on re-conducting the postponed examinations.
He said that the state universities have given some advice to shape the academic future of the students, but no official information has been received from the UGC or HRD in this regard yet.
Chatterjee said, "I am clearly saying that the state universities will take decisions in the interest of the students after consultation with the Department of Higher Education in view of the prevailing situation." The minister said, "UGC or HRD on this issue No letter has come from it. ”He said that the department is coordinating with various state universities on this issue.
