Paris Saint Germain (PSG) star footballer Neymar has raised his hand in the fight against the Corona virus. This fast forward forward has donated one million US dollars (about 7.5 million rupees) from Corona in Brazil to the war.
According to a report by the Brazilian TV network SBT, Neymar made the donation to a campaign released by the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and television broadcaster Luciano Haque.
Neymar's team management said in a brief statement, "We never talk about donations and funds." The campaign is supported by Brazilian world champion surfer Grabial Medina and other Brazilian celebrities.
Neymar is one of the highest paid footballers in the world. While living in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), he is said to be earning three million euros ($ 3.2 million) a month. So far 9,000 cases of corona virus have been reported in Brazil, while 359 people have died.
