At around 11 am on Saturday, 500 women unitedly sat under the Zafarabad Metro station and blocked the road. Meanwhile the police arrived to remove, but the protesters did not move.
During the demonstration against the CAA, the women also tried to stage around 9 am Sunday. But this was not allowed after Police Commissioner Alok Kumar arrived.
People started gathering in Maujpur and Durgapuri around 2 pm. These people were in support of the CAA and were demanding the removal of the protesters.
A demonstration similar to Jaffarabad was also going on in Chandbagh. This area is near Karaval Nagar, from where Kapil Mishra has been an MLA. Hence Kapil was tweeting on this matter from 1.30 pm. Then around 3.30 in the afternoon he reached Babarpur. He gave an ultimatum to the police to remove the people soon, otherwise they would come to the streets to remove them. Meanwhile, there continued stone pelting at Delhi Police .
