A specific reason for women not being able to conceive is polycystic ovarian syndrome, ie PCOS, due to which the cysts formed can become cancerous if not treated in time. IVF expert Dr. Shobha Gupta says that about 10 percent of women are affected by PCOS in Young Age itself. This problem usually affects women from reproductive age to menopause. Dr Gupta says, reproductive hormones are produced in the bodies of both men and women. Androgens hormones are also produced in the body of men, but in the ovaries of women suffering from PCOS, these hormones start to become more than normal. Because of this, the egg turns into cysts or lumps and sometimes takes the form of cancer.
These cysts are small thalamic structures that are full of fluids, says Shweta Goswami, a periodologist who is more frequent or not at all. These cysts accumulate in the ovaries and their size also increases. This condition is called polycystic ovarian syndrome. Because of this, women are unable to conceive. This problem is more likely to happen in women who have had or do not have periods at all.
