The US passing through fierce heat, temperatures in many major cities including New York, Philadelphia and Washington have reached 38 degrees Celsius. From mid-western plains to the Atlantic coast, about 15 million people are battling this fierce heat and are struggling to avoid scorching sunlight.
The National Weather Service has warned that if the precaution is not taken, then this fierce heat can lead to unconsciousness or folly. People are urged to drink water as much as possible, stay within the houses and not to leave the children and animals. At least 3 people died due to this heat.
The lives of two of these people went to the eastern province of Maryland this week. Lu's warning has been issued for parts of eastern Canada. New York Mayor Blasio has announced a heat-related emergency.
