West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Sunday termed the results of the exit poll for the Lok Sabha elections as a fake, saying it is a game plan to change and tamper with thousands of EVMs.  He asked the opposition leaders to be united with firmness.

Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo said, "I do not believe in the excuse of exit polls.  The game plan is working to change and tamper with thousands of EVMs through this chat. "He said," I am appealing to all opposition political parties to be united, strong and fearless.  We will fight together in this direction."

In almost all exit polls, the BJP National Democratic Alliance (NDA) has been shown to the majority .  It has been speculated that the BJP can win 16 to 18 seats in West Bengal.  In 2014 the party won only two seats in the state.
