Telecom company Bharti Airtel suffered a loss of 5.7 million subscribers in December 2018. The company gave this information in a release on Thursday.
At the end of December, the number of mobile service customers was 28.42 million. This number was 34.1 million at the end of November a month ago. It shows a decline of 5.7 million in the number of mobile service subscribers of the company.
With the rise of competitive giants in terms of market place, Airtel's customer base saw decline in December. In late December, the subscriber base of Reliance Jio increased to 28 crore. Airtel's 4G subscribers grew in December and reached 7.71 crore.
