Recently in a terrific incident in South Delhi, two unknown people allegedly attacked a 22-year-old girl with acid on Thursday. The assailants also threatened the girl to withdraw the case of rape which she had lodged against her former boyfriend.
A police official said that the police got information about this incident in the morning, after which they reached the spot and found the woman lying in a injured state. Police found empty bottle of toilet cleaners on the spot.
The victim was said to be discharged from the hospital after treatment.
