The Indian cricket team captured the one-day series by 3-0 against New Zealand. Before the World Cup, Team India wants to try every possible means to strengthen its preparations. With the withdrawal of the suspension, the return of the all-rounder Hardik Pandya, the team combination seems to be fixed but the middle order, especially the number four, is still seems out of order.
Indian captain Virat Kohli after winning the third ODI indicated that the number four race is still on, where the flexibility needs to be shown. After the Champions Trophy in June 2017, the Indian team has tried out nine batsmen in this series. Captain Kohli has been supporting Ambati Rayudu and he has got good opportunities too, but vice-captain Rohit Sharma has been the man of the series against Australia, who has started the new debate, which is still going on, by telling the experienced Dhoni as fit for the order.
Captain Kohli believes that we are not sure about the fourth order in the last five matches.
