In August last year, it was reported that filmmaker Karan Johar was going to make a sequel of his hit film 'Dostana'. Later it was revealed that like the earlier one, here too he would cast two new actors and an A-list actress to complete the love triangle.
Now there is a buzz that Alia Bhatt can be cast as a lead actress in this film. Alia will be seen in the upcoming production of Karan Johar. These include films such as Kalank, Brahmashtra and Takht.
A source close to the news said, "The conversation about the film has started and Alia has liked this idea. She will soon hear the final script. The two male actors to be cast opposite her are yet yo be finalised. After final casting, Karan will announce the film. The work of pre-production on the film has also started.
