Riyadh: Dismissing international criticism for the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi, Saudi Arab's new Foreign Minister has denied having any kind of crisis in his country. Ibrahim Al Asaf, who was appointed foreign minister after the reshuffle in the government, said, "The issue of Jamal Khashoggi really made us sad. But it can not be said that we are going through a crisis, but we are going through a phase of change.
His sign was towards the social and economic reforms undertaken by Wali Ahmad Mohammad Bin Salman, considered to be the successor of the Saudi royal family. Asaf has replaced Abdul Al-Jubir, who has been made Minister of State for External Affairs. It is believed to be being deprecated as Jubir.
