Team India's current captain Virat Kohli and former Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (MS Dhoni) have a very close friendship. Virat has praised Dhoni many times, even when in the year 2017, Dhoni left the captaincy of the Indian team, when Virat made a emotional post by putting a post on social media in favor of Dhoni. Virat wrote in his post, 'Mahi Bhai you will always be my captain'. Now Virat has told Mahendra Singh Dhoni's big hand behind his captaincy and said that Dhoni helped improve his captaincy.
Virat talked about his relationship with Dhoni during a live chat with Indian team spinner Ravichandran Ashwin. Kohli shared his experience of playing with Dhoni and said, 'If you talk about sports, then I have learned a lot from Dhoni. I always kept advising him by standing in the slip.
