When the serial is made after spending so much money, it is obvious that the sets of the show will also be fantastic. In a special conversation with India Today, the show's director Siddharth revealed these things. He told- 'We were very clear about the fact that this show will be the biggest show in India which people have not seen till date. This was the biggest series made in India. It seems that even after seven years, it is the number one serial in Hindi GEC. I feel happy that people liked my work.
While the show had a budget of 100 crores, a lot of money was spent in its promotion and marketing. 20 crore was spent in it. In 2013, museums of Mahabharata were set up in shopping malls in eight cities of the country. In these museums, people could see the jewelery, costume and tools used by the characters in the show. Apart from this, people could also enjoy a virtual tour of the set of Mahabharata. There was also a system for small towns. Museums were arranged in vehicles here.
