Apart from NGOs, Bollywood stars also helped the migrant laborers in difficult times during the lockdown. In the fight against Corona, there were millions of people who suffered lockdown injuries, and the foremost among them were migrant laborers. Those who were away from their homes without money, without means, without any arrangement, were feeling helpless. Talking of Bollywood stars who came forward to help, someone distributed rations and some mask and sanitizer.
But the most appreciated actor was Sonu Sood. The reason was that Sonu went ahead of ration-water and took the initiative to send these laborers to their house. Sonu arranged buses for these migrant laborers, for which he was very much discussed on social media. Now in the same sequence, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar has also taken the responsibility of sending back the trapped laborers away from their homes.
The work that Sonu Sood is doing in Mumbai, Swara Bhaskar is doing the same work in Delhi. Swara has shared some pictures on Instagram in which she has said that based on the responses she received on Twitter, she has sent some people back to UP and Bihar. Swara wrote, "More than 70 people responded to our Twitter inquiry to send migrants trapped in Delhi back to UP and Bihar."
