In the Mahabharata coming on StarPlus, Arjuna received divine weapons in heaven and Bhima got Hanuman's blessings in Bhiloka. After taking the blessings, when Bhima proceeded further into the forest, he encountered his son Ghatotkacha.
Further, there is a group of Brahmins who were returning with donations from the Yajna of Hastinapur that they got Ghatotkacha. Who wants to take one of them for sacrifice because his mother Hidimba is worshiping mother Shakti. Then Bhima comes there and says to go himself. Bhima comes home with Ghatotkacha and is surprised when Hidimba sees Bhima. And tells Ghatotkacha that Bhima is his father.
On this Bhima gets angry saying that first offer my sacrifice and then tell Ghatotkacha that I am his father. Hearing this, Hidimba apologizes to Bhima. On accepting his mistake, Bhima also forgives him and is distraught to put Ghatotkacha from his chest, then Ghatotkacha touches his father Bhima's feet and embraces him in human form. Bhima tells Hidimba that he is living in a cottage with Pandavas and Draupadi as he has got 12 years of exile and one year of exile. Along with this, Bhima also tells that after this exile and exile there will be a great war with the Kauravas.
