Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday issued orders to extend the lockdown in the state till May 29. The lockdown has been ordered till May 17 across the country. Telangana is the first state to extend the lockdown period in its state. CM has said that curfew will be imposed in the state from 7 pm, so people are requested to return to their homes by 6 pm with essential goods etc. The decision in Telangana on Tuesday has intensified the discussion that the central government itself may extend the lockdown period in the coming years.
The KCR government of Telangana issued a detailed guideline in this regard on Tuesday evening, mentioning the terms of the lockdown. The government has said that those who want to go for the purchase of essential goods, they should return to their homes by 6 o'clock. Apart from this, the CM has also said that if anyone in the state is found violating the lockdown then strict action will be taken.
Lockdown restrictions in Ghaziabad increased till 31 May
Telangana was the first state in the country to issue curfew in its state after the Janata curfew. Apart from this, initially the CM also gave the police a complete exemption to those who violate the curfew.
More than 1000 cases found in Telangana
If we look at the figures, a total of 1085 cases of corona have been reported in Telangana at present. However, 21 districts of Telangana have been freed from the bite of Corona. More than 25 people have died in Telangana so far, while a large number of healthy corona patients have also been sent home.
