Former Pakistan fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar has once again recalled the bouncer strategy he tried against Sachin Tendulkar in the 2006 Faisalabad Test. In this match, Sachin could only score 14 runs and became a victim of Akhtar.

Shoaib Akhtar said, 'I always worked on getting Sachin out. I knew where Sachin got hurt. In the Faisalabad Test, I knew that Sachin got hurt in the elbow and he could not play hook and pull. In such a situation, I continued to throw him a bouncer.
Earlier, former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Asif had talked about the same series saying that during the match, his teammate Shoaib Akhtar's fast balls once scared Sachin Tendulkar so much that Sachin saw his bouncers. She had closed her eyes.
