Worldwide lockdowns due to Corona virus has curbed the demand for oil and other gases. The non-subsidised LPG or market-priced cooking gas prices hit a blow by a record drop ₹162.50 per cylinder on Friday.
This is the third straight monthly reduction in rates of non-subsidised LPG.
The non-subsidised LPG prices are regulated in the beginning of every month in view of the international market rates.
Non-subsidised LPG now costs ₹581.50 per 14.2-kg cylinder in Delhi, down from ₹744 till Thursday.
In Mumbai, non-subsidised cooking gas price was reduced to ₹579 per cylinder from ₹714.50.
