Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt starrer film Brahmastra has been waiting for release for quite some time. Directed by Ayan Mukherjee, the film was scheduled to hit theaters on December 4, 2020. The shooting of the film started 2 years ago. But now due to the lockdown caused by Corona, there are reports of the film's release date slipping again for the next year.
Bollywood Hungama has written in its report quoting the source that Ranbir-Alia has decided to cut their fees due to the damage done to the film. According to the report, there is currently 40 days of shoots left. The shooting seems to be delayed due to the lockdown. Due to this delay, the budget of the film is being affected. According to the budget estimate has increased a lot. There are a lot of VFX in the film. A lot of work is pending on this section.
