Irrfan Khan has made his place not only in Bollywood but also in Hollywood. In 2001, he made his debut in Hollywood with the film Warrior. After this he acted in films like Namesake, Mighty Heart and Darjeeling Limited. After this he also managed to establish himself in Hollywood with films like Life of Pi, Slumdog Millionaire, Jurassic World and Amazing Spiderman. However, Irfan has also refused to work with some directors with whom any artist would definitely like to work.
In the year 2008, he was offered a role in Ridley Scott's Body of Lies, but Irrfan had told that there was no talk about his film. In this film, famous actors Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe were seen as the main actors.
In 2014, Irfan missed the opportunity to work in the classic film Interstellar of the legendary director Christopher Nolan. Actually, Irrfan had to stay in the US for four consecutive months for this film. Irfan had also said that he can travel by US flights from India but it would be difficult to stay there continuously because he had given the commitment to the film Lunchbox and D-Day. Ultimately, the matter was not ready. Irrfan had said that it was one of the most difficult decisions of his career that he had rejected Christopher Nolan's film.
