Himalayan Mountaineering Institute of Darjeeling, HMI has organized the Big Boss Indoor Challenge. Although it has started from 25 March and will run till 14 April, but still anyone can participate in it if they want. You do not have to do much to participate, just upload pictures and videos of every activity you do at home on HMI's Facebook page @HMIDARJEELING. The prize will be given to the best video or photo uploader. The first prize is a chance to stay in Darjeeling for five nights and four days free with family. Four other such awards will be given. Even if no one is able to win in the first four, all the participants will be given many gifts including online certificates.
Head of HMI Group Captain Jai Kishan said that this event has been started to make the lockdown successful and to defeat the corona virus. The reason for starting this campaign is that they say that a climber team went to the mountain for training on March 10, till then Corona was not much affected in the country. When these teams returned around March 26-27, then the lockdown Had begun. To keep these trainees busy, we started this indoor challenge. Then we thought of bringing this challenge to a big level and this country was opened to everyone abroad.
