Curd is very good for health, but according to Ayurveda, if eaten at the wrong time, it can also have the opposite effect.  As summer arrives, eating yogurt along with lunch is a habit of most people.  It is also a good habit.  Yoghurt is good for health in many cases and most people do not get irritated by eating it.  Let us tell you, in Ayurveda it is said that curd should be avoided at night.  Taking yogurt at night proves to be harmful to the body in a way.
What is the reason behind this?  The strength of phlegm increases naturally in our body at night.  Therefore, eating yogurt at night is a risk of many diseases related to the stomach.  According to many experts, eating yogurt at night can lead to food poisoning.
According to Dr. Kiran Dalal, Head-Dietetics, Fortis Hospital, Faridabad, people who are unable to take lactose can also eat yogurt.  Generally, people who are able to take milk, curd also has no problem.  Scientifically, there is no harm to yogurt, but it is an Ayurvedic concept that we should not mix cold and hot food.  This can cause you throat discomfort and swelling.

Yogurt is most beneficial in breakfast.  Eating sugar mixed with yogurt ends blood loss.  Lassi or buttermilk made with curd is also good for health to relieve stomach problems.
