Duryodhana misbehaved with the princess of Gandharvas, due to which the panchayat of Gandharvas arrives at the door of Duryodhana and imprisons him and puts him to death. But according to the knowledge of his brother Yudhishthira, Arjun and Bhima reach there and free Duryodhana from the Gandharvas.
Enraged, Duryodhana summons his commander and fights a war with him, seeking help from the Pandavas. There is fierce swordsmanship between the two and the commander Veeragati is received. After that, Duryodhana attacks himself with a sword but Karna comes and saves him. When Duryodhana says that he is humiliated due to the arrival of Arjuna and Bhima, Karna explains to him that he, as a subject, has done his duty to his king by saving his king's life. Hearing this, Duryodhana's anger subsides.
There Bhishma and Dronacharya come to Dhritarashtra and talk about the future of Hastinapur by giving information that the Gandharvas take Duryodhana captive. That's when Duryodhana, Dushashan and Karna also come there. When Dronacharya says that Karna escaped from there after Duryodhana became a prisoner, hearing this, Karna ate the sun and said, "If it was not Maharaj's room and you were not Acharya, I would give you a breath Do not let it live. " Dronacharya is angry at Karna, and Bhishma pacifies him and tells Duryodhana the truth that if Arjun and Bhima had not come at the right time, the lamp of Hastinapur would have been extinguished. Bhishma Pitamah also says to Duryodhana that by expressing gratitude to Arjun's tunir and Bhima's mace, bring him back from the forest but Duryodhana does not listen to him.
