The year 1983 was full of challenges for Amitabh Bachchan. This was the same year when he was working in the film Coolie and was badly injured during the shooting of a fight scene. The whole country was praying for Amitabh Bachchan. Amitabh was hospitalized in serious conditions and managed to recover after much efforts by doctors.
However, Puneet Issar, who was involved in this fight scene with Amitabh, felt very embarrassed and sad because Amitabh was injured during the fight with him. Five years before the release of this film, there was an occasion when Amitabh had to face the situation of Punit Issar. Actually in 1978, the movie Muqaddar's Sikander was released. Amitabh Bachchan and Vinod Khanna were in lead roles in this film. Both were considered to be Bollywood superstars at that time and the film also earned a tremendous amount at the box office. However Vinod Khanna was injured during a scene with Amitabh.
