India's great batsman Sachin Tendulkar participated in a live webinar on sports injuries, where he shared his experiences through video conferencing with young doctors across the country. During his illustrious career spanning more than two decades, Sachin Tendulkar also suffered from a number of health problems, the most prominent being an tennis elbow injury.
Sachin came to know from orthopedic doctor Sudhir Warrier that many young doctors across the country are sharing their information with each other on sports related injuries through live webinars during lockdown.
A session was held on Saturday related to sports injuries and Sachin also became a part of the event. He interacted with about 12000 doctors from across the country who participated in this session. During this, the former Indian batsman said that he is grateful to the medical community for services. He hoped that this program will help young doctors to learn.
Sudhir Warrier interacted with Indian cricket team physiotherapist Nitin Patel. Patel has previously worked with IPL team Mumbai Indians.
