Irrfan Khan breathed his last on 29 April 2019. There was a lot of turmoil in his life from the year 2018. Irrfan Khan was diagnosed with a disease called neuro-endocrine tumor. In winning the battle with this disease, his wife Sutpa Sikdar supported him at every turn.
Irrfan Khan loved his wife Sutpa Sikdar dearly. During the release of his last film English Medium, Irrfan Khan expressed his love for his wife Sutpa. He had said- If I get a chance to live, I would like to live for Sutpa.
In a conversation with Mumbai Mirror, Irfan said - Sutpa used to take great care of me while I was being treated abroad. If I get a chance to live, I would like to live for Sutpa. Sutpa is the reason for me to live. Let me tell you, when Irfan was getting his treatment abroad, his wife was present with him every moment.
