We remain ignorant of many facts of history because the secrets of language and script remain unresolved.  However, the Israeli museum now seeks to solve unresolved mysteries of Egyptian history through emojis of the modern era.  A special 'EmojiLifs' exhibition has been held this week at the Israeli Museum, explaining the similarities between the emojis and Egyptian civilization used in the current era.

It is difficult to explain history with hieroglyphs, says Shirley Ben-Dor Avian, the director of the exhibition, "I usually find it very difficult to explain the history through hieroglyphs.  Then I thought that during this time we use a lot of pictures or emojis to express our feelings.  In such a situation, there are some emojis which are very similar to the hieroglyphs.  He said that we have been using such pictures and emojis since the 1990s.

Great similarity to hieroglyphs and existing emojis
The director of the exhibition said that some expressions are always the same to express the basic mood of the human being.  In the present era, the hand-waving emoji used for dancing is similar to that used in hieroglyphs in the era of 3,000 years ago.  He told that even after thousands of years of difference and a culturally very different society, there is similarity in some hieroglyphs and emojis.
