The International Cricket Council (ICC) banned Indian businessman Deepak Agarwal, who was the owner of a franchise in the T10 League in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2018. The decision was taken against Aggarwal after admitting that he was obstructing an anti-corruption investigation.

He offered to cooperate after accepting the violation of the Anti-Corruption Code, leading to a suspended sentence of six months out of the two-year ban imposed on him.

Aggarwal was the owner of the T10 team Sindhi for some time, he was charged under the Code as a partner during the 2018 phase. According to a detailed report of the Anti-Corruption Unit, Agarwal was charged with erasing evidence with an unknown 'Mr. X' who has also been described as a participant.

As per the ICC order, 'Agarwal asked' Mr. X 'to' delete 'all the conversations between each other and he also' deleted 'his number before joining the ACU investigation. Aggarwal has been charged in accordance with Article 2.4.7 of the Code of Conduct which pertains to destroying any documents, concealing or tampering with other information in the ongoing investigation.
