Golfer Arjun Bhati may be just 15 years old, but he has contributed a lot to fight the COVID-19 epidemic. He managed to raise Rs 4.30 lakh by selling all his trophies including three World Junior Golf Championship titles and a National Championship.
Greater Noida golfer Arjun Bhati won the US Kids Junior World Championship in 2016 and 2018 and the FCG Callaway Junior World Championship last year. Arjun has donated to the Prime Minister's Relief Fund (PM- CARES Fund).
Arjun said that to raise funds, he sold all his trophies to his relatives and friends of his parents. He tweeted in Hindi on Tuesday- 'I gave away 102 trophies which I won from the country and abroad to 102 people during the crisis. A total of 4,30,000 rupees came from him to help the country in the PM-Cares fund.
Arjun further wrote, 'Upon discovering my contribution, my grandmother cried first and then said,' You are the real Arjun at this time, it is important to save human life. Trophy can be won in future.
