A new case of death of a coronavirus infected patient has been reported in West Bengal. Dr. Biplab Kanti Dasgupta, assistant director of West Bengal Health Services, died on Sunday. Dasgupta, 60, was infected with Covid-19. He is the first doctor in Bengal who died due to coronavirus. Seven days ago he was found infected with corona, after which he was undergoing treatment in the hospital. The wife of a health department official has also been found to be corona infected. The Chief Minister of the state, Mamta Banerjee, has condoled his death.
