Amitabh wrote - 15 August 1975 at the premiere of Sholay in Minerva ... I, along with Maa, Babuji, Jaya and Bo Tye. Jaya is looking so cute ... it was a 35 mm print, a 70 mm stereo sound print ... I was stuck in customs (tax) for the first time in India but when the premiere was over at midnight we came to know that 70 mm Print was out of customs. We told Ramesh Sippy. It was the first film to appear in 70 mm stereo. I kept watching this film with Vinod Khanna in the balcony till 3 in the morning.
