According to the Federation of Western Indian Cine Employees (FWICE), Salman Khan has pledged to financially help the 25,000 daily wage laborers of the industry.
The Prime Minister had announced a 21-day lockdown in India, in which daily laborers have to worry about their livelihood. In such a situation, all the stars of Bollywood are engaged in helping in their own way. Now Salman Khan has decided to do this through his NGO Being Human. FWICE President BN Tiwari said that Salman Khan reached out to his organization through his NGO Being Human and put forward a helping hand for the workers.

He said, 'Salman Khan's Being Human Foundation has come forward to help the daily wage laborers. He called us three days ago. We have 5 lakh laborers, out of which 25000 are in great need of financial help. The Being Human Foundation said that they would take care of all those workers. They have asked for account details of these 25000 laborers, because they want the money to reach the laborers directly.
Tiwari further said, 'Apart from those laborers, we have more than 4,75,000 laborers, whom we are supporting. These people can run their work for one month. We have collected ration for them, but unfortunately they cannot come here to get it. So we are looking for ways to deliver it to them.
