Portugal star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and his manager Jorge Mendes will donate five ventilators to the Madeira Health Department to contribute to the battle of Coronavirus.
The Lusa news agency reported this on Saturday. According to the report of the news agency Xinhua, Madeira Health Department will receive equipment donation to fight Kovid-19.
The donation will be provided by Mediran footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and businessman George Mendis. They will provide five ventilators.
The report says that after getting these five ventilators, the health department will have a total of 99 ventilators. According to the report of the Health Directorate of Portugal, about 100 people of coronavirus have died in the country so far.
Argentina star footballer Lionel Messi gave a donation of one million euros i.e. 8 crores rupees to a hospital in Barcelona to fight the coronavirus.
Before Messi, Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola also gave one million euros to a Barcelona-based NGO to buy essential medical supplies.
