The Prime Minister on his exclusive talkshow 'Mann Ki Baat' program on Sunday began with an apology to countrymen for the following reasons.
'First of all I apologize to the countrymen. I am sure you will forgive me. Some decisions have to be taken, due to which you have got trouble. I apologize to poor brothers and sisters. I understand your problem, but there was no other way to save 130 crore countrymen, so it was necessary to take this drastic step. After seeing the condition of the world, it was felt that this is the only way left.
Despite the coronavirus lockdown, people are returning to their respective homes. The central government has directed that those who have gone from one place to another in violation of the lockdown will be isolated for at least 14 days.
In the directive, the central government asked all DMs and SPs across the country to keep the boundaries of the district and the state sealed so that the movement of people is stopped. Only goods will be allowed. Where workers are working, arrangements should be made for them to stay and eat there. They should be given wages. House rent should not be taken. Action should be taken against those who are asking the workers or students to vacate the house.
