As the outbreak of Corona virus is seen increasing, the stars of the film industry are coming forward to help the affected people due to Corona. After Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan, Bollywood veteran Lyricist Javed Akhtar has come forward to help the musicians and authorities across the country, influenced by Corona. He will be seen doing so under the Indian Performing Rights Society.
In fact, he is the chairperson of IPRS and has announced to help about 3000 musicians and writers from the society. This is a commendable step in the midst of Corona's crisis. Javed Akhtak's wife Shabana Azmi has shared a video on Twitter in which Javed Akhtar is seen sharing information about this.
In the video, Javed Akhtar is saying that - it is our duty to completely abide by the lockdown of 21 days issued by the Prime Minister and support each other in this difficult time. IPRS was formed because of the need to help needy artists in times of trouble. In this difficult time, all the people of the society are walking side by side and all the members are involved in it. Whatever amount will be donated will be for those people who are not able to access the essential things due to lockdown.
