Sonam Kapoor Ahuja lashed out at Director Ali Abbas Zafar for not informing about the remake of Mr. India.
In an open letter she announced that it was "disrespectful and humiliating" because thhe original actor Anil Kapoor and director Shekhar Kapur were not consulted for the film .
Sonam wrote an Instagram post stating that it was not until Ali Abbas' social media post the news of the remake wasn't broken to the Kapoor family.
The 1987 film is said to be very sentimental to Anil Kapoor and he felt hurt , as Sonam wrote in the post.
