In China, 3,143 new cases of deadly corona virus have been confirmed and with the death of 73 more patients, the death toll has reached 636.
Chinese health officials informed on Friday that they have confirmed 3,143 new cases of corona virus in 31 provincial-level areas and Zhejiang Production and Construction Corps and confirmed 73 more deaths from the virus.
According to China's National Health Commission, 73 people died, one each from Hubei province, 69, Jilin, Henan and Guangdong and Hainan.
The Commission said that 4,833 new suspected cases of corona virus have been reported on Thursday and 962 patients are in critical condition. 387 people have been discharged from hospital after getting well.
The commission said that as of Thursday, the total number of people infected with the corona virus has increased to 31,161 and so far 636 people have died. So far 26,359 people are suspected to be infected with the virus and the condition of 4,821 people remains critical. So far, a total of 1,540 people have been discharged from hospital after recovering.
It reported that 3,14,028 people were kept under medical supervision, of which 26,762 were discharged from medical surveillance on Thursday. 1,86,045 people are still under medical supervision.
