The problem of obesity and sugar has emerged as a major problem of Indian women. But the way to avoid both these problems has recently been suggested by AIIMS and Diabetes Foundation of India. Research conducted jointly by AIIMS and DFI has revealed that pre-diabetic women can control both their obesity and sugar if they consume the right amount of vitamin-D. Even if you are in the sun at the right time every day, even then these problems remain.
The researchers included women between the ages of 20 and 60 who were pre-diabetic in their research. The weight of these women was also more than normal. Researchers found that during the research, the amount of blood sugar and glucose in diabetic women who were given vitamin-D supplements along with regular treatment continued to be controlled. While women who were not given vitamin-D, their placebo sample clearly showed an increased level of diabetes in them. The special thing is that with vitamin-D supplements, not only did the glucose level of these women come back to normal, but their body fat also decreased significantly.

Vitamin-D deficiency is a common public health issue. That is, not only in India but around the world due to lack of vitamin-D, many problems are emerging as public health issues. With respect to India, it is believed that there is sufficient amount of sunshine here and almost all year round, so there is enough vitamin-D in Indians. But researchers in this regard tell something else.
According to the author of this study and Dr. Anoop Mishra, chairman of Fortis Hospital, a separate study has revealed that the lack of vitamin-D is widespread in Indians and is mainly due to increased abdominal fat. A major reason for the lack of vitamin D in Indian women is that most of the women work at home and their dress is such that their entire body is covered with clothes. Due to this, they are unable to get sunexposure and due to lack of adequate sunlight in the body, they start lacking vitamin-D.
