Andhra Pradesh Police on Friday arrested 7 Indian Navy employees in the case, claiming to have uncovered a spy racket with Pakistani contacts. Andhra Pradesh has registered a case and started investigating the entire racket. All the marines arrested are being interrogated.
According to a police release, the intelligence wing of the police, along with the Central Intelligence Agencies and the Naval Intelligence Department, conducted 'Operation Dolphin's Nose' and exposed this espionage racket. Police said, "An FIR has been registered. Seven navy employees and a hawala operator have been arrested from different parts of the country.
Other suspects also questioned
Police said some other suspects are also being questioned. Without giving detailed information in this regard, the police said that investigation of the whole case is going on. Police sources said those arrested will be produced in court on Friday. The wire of this racket is suspected to be connected to Pakistan.
