2 people have died due to this and millions have been evacuated to safer places.  Bangladesh's Junior Disaster Management Minister Enamur Rahman said that over 21 lakh people were evacuated by Saturday evening.  By Saturday morning, more than 5,000 shelters had been built.

 Emergency Security Force deployed

 The cyclone caused winds at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour, while it is likely to weaken after crossing the coast.  The cyclone hit the banks of Gangasagar and would pass through the 'Khulna' area which also includes the Sundarbans.  According to the news of TV channel Independent, Bangladesh Navy and Coast Guard have been kept ready to deal with any emergency.


100 to 120 km in the coastal areas of Bangladesh.  There are strong winds and strong rains.  In view of the storm and disaster, the government has canceled the weekend leave of all government officials in 13 coastal areas.  On Saturday, disaster management staff reported loudspeakers in hurricane-hit Chittagong and other coastal areas to people arriving at relief camps.  All small boats and fishing vessels have been completely banned from entering the sea and rivers.


 The condition of cyclone 'Bulbul' in West Bengal is expected to become more severe on Sunday.  Home, roads, communication and electrical facilities may be affected during this period.  In view of this, fishermen have been advised not to venture into the sea until further orders.  According to the report, the Bulbul cyclone hit Bengal at a speed of 110–120 kmph.  After this, about one lakh people living in the coastal villages of low-lying areas of the state were evacuated safely.  Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself has also spoken to West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee regarding 'Bulbul'.
